Sunday Funnies 6: Visualize a Quote

On September 12, 1962 JFK addressed Rice University about the “space race”. In the speech he talks about the power of the human spirit. He disuses the challenges that the human race have faced and overcome. I tried to represent this same tone in my “Sunday Funny“. I wanted to show the progression of human knowledge and accomplishments.

Nice! I like the progression of images here.

I’m curious whether there is meaning in you starting the last 4 frames with the commas that I would usually think of as attached to the previous frames’ words? Was that a conscious design choice, and if so what were you trying to accomplish by it?

It was a conscious design choice. I initially had the comas at the end of the words before. However, it felt that it made reading it break at the wrong moment.
